Sweet + Gorgeous + Athletic + Hilarious = deadly. Yup, that’s my sister. If you haven’t seen her before, meet my “little” sister, Ashlea Elaine 🙂 Believe it or not (I still don’t believe it), she’s a Senior. She’s also a twin. You may ask why I don’t post pictures of my brother’s Senior shoot then. Well, you see, he’s not a Senior. They’re a grade apart. To be honest, unless I told you were they were twins, you would never know. They don’t really look alike; they don’t really act alike; and they aren’t in the same grade. But they are twins nonetheless. Ashlea falls as the third in the family line. She is a sister, a daughter, & an aunt.
Doing this shoot was not only a blast but was so much more relaxed. Probably because I didn’t have to worry about offending my sister. If the pose looked bad, I just told her! But, as you will see, I don’t know if she had a “bad” pose. We both laughed, met some new people, did some strange things, and ended with ice cream! It doesn’t get much better than that. We had an absolutely gorgeous day and enjoyed every minute of it.
Ashlea is one of a kind. Words can’t adequately tell you the joy that she brings into my life. I have cried several times on account of her—and we are talking because of laughter, people! She knows how to brighten your day. I swear it’s her spiritual gift. Ashlea is also very talented. She has a wide range of skills including her beautiful voice, acting abilities, oh and don’t even get me started on athletics (btw…don’t get in her way-you WILL get hurt)! She has many friends because she herself is a friend. But most of all, I am proud to say that my sister is a disciple. She is follower of our great and amazing Father and she lives her faith every day. It’s rare you see her kind of commitment and love anymore. She is a jewel as rare as they come. I hope that through these photographs you not only see the beauty of Ashlea on the outside, but the genuineness that lies within. . . .
Keep seeking Him above all else, Ash. I love you more than you know!
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jer. 29:11-12
This was a gentleman who just decided that he wanted to be in the pictures!! Made us laugh! 🙂 Oh, what shoots can bring. . . .
