Andrew & Ana Luiza | Sander’s Mansion, WA Wedding

Andrew&AnaLuiza

After a few days of rain, Washington broke out it’s finest weather last Saturday just in time for the celebration of Andrew and Ana Luiza’s union.  Sander’s Mansion in Kent, WA was a stunning site to see! Though right off the freeway, the estate was so perfectly tucked away that as you drove down the driveway you felt like you were miles away from civilization. The gorgeous blue skies with white puffy clouds made the perfect backdrop for the stately home, and the sun rays reflecting off the still pond made you feel at peace. The roses were in full bloom and the hustle of preparations made everything feel alive.

Ana Luiza soon arrived with her closest friends in tow, and I could see right away the close bond that she had with her Bridal party.  It wasn’t too much later that Ana Luiza received a call from her mother and instantly started speaking a different language! Of course I was thoroughly surprised and Ana Luiza explained to me with a smile that her family is from Brazil and she was speaking Portuguese.  She also let me know I was in for a ride as her family was large and crazy! It seemed only a few minutes later that her mom entered the room bringing all the liveliness and sweetness of what the rest of her family would provide for the remainder of the day. They most certainly did not disappoint! The love, excitement, and joy that her family had for her and Andrew was one in a million, and it was touching to see the excitement of  all those that cared for her so deeply.

The day continued to unfold as Andrew and Ana Luiza snuck out to see each other before the crowds arrived.  Andrew’s humor started in full swing again and he had us all laughing and Ana Luiza’s eyes rolling in moments.  Their time was short though as we were soon whisking them back inside to prepare for their ceremony.

Before she knew it, Ana Luiza was walking down the aisle on her father’s arm to finally become Andrew’s wife. She was a stunning picture of white as she proudly wore her dear cousin’s gorgeous wedding gown that held so much sentimental value in it. The touching moments continued as a good friend of Ana Luiza’s father performed the ceremony and pronounced them as husband and wife sealed with a kiss.

As the sun rays dipped lower into the sky Ana Luiza and Andrew’s family continued to share in the love, joy, and excitement of their wedding day.  Blue Ribbon Cooking set out a beautiful and delectable meal for all to enjoy. Little pieces of Andrew and Ana’s childhood were placed all around the reception area in the from of photographs and it was both fun and touching to see all the family memories. Toasts were soon made my both of their father’s with a sweet speech by her trio of dear friends turned bridesmaids. An intimate sunset walk by the rose bushes rounded out their special time together, and the rest of the evening was spent dancing away with their favorite people under the warm glow of the strings of lights…
