Welcome back to Part 2 of Garrett & Emily’s gorgeous Fox Hill Farm Wedding! If there was one thing that blew me away at this wedding it was the attention to detail- especially at the Reception. The huge farm doors of the barn laid wide open decorated with both a touch of the old in it’s worn wood and rustic crates, but with also a refreshing touch of the new in the pops of beautiful pink flowers. Heart warming sentiments lined the entry way with photographs of each side’s lineage at their weddings, and sweet photos of Garrett and Emily’s first meeting as babies were framed for all to see and celebrate in their reunion almost 20 years later. Handwritten name cards beautifully penned by Emily herself laid on top of an old hutch, and the twinkling white lights of the main dining area warmly invited you in. Each table was wrought with character as they stood uniquely made and decorated with a touch of rustic elegance. Cute baby succulents were laid at the head of each plate as a sign of sweet gratitude from the Bride & Groom. The Mr. & Mrs. table stood at the back separated by a glass chandelier hanging overhead only adding to the rustic elegance of the barn. It truly was a stunning display.
Soon guests filled the heavy wooden chairs as they awaited the arrival of the giddy couple. The DJ took his place, the wedding party lined up, and the night began. Emotions soon overtook again as the First Dance began the evening followed by extremely heartfelt and touching father/daughter and mother/son dances. The tears continued as Emily’s sister, Brenna, cried her way through a humorous and original rap song leaving the guests half crying and laughing at the same time. Garrett’s brother, Kenny, continued to pull out the laughter though and everyone was all smiles as the final toast went up before dinner was served.
The night continued with reminiscing, laughter, dancing, and fun. The cake was cut and the scrumptious cupcakes surrounding soon vanished. The sun began to drop behind the clouds and the brilliant dark blue of the evening appeared. Guest began lining up and sparklers were lit lining the way for the exit of the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Garrett Treverton….
