Matt & Krista | DuBois, PA Wedding Part 1

It was a chilly overcast morning.   A light drizzle was falling making the already unusually small amount of snow in Pennsylvania nice and slushy. I headed to meet Krista for her morning preparations and was welcomed with a beaming smile.  She knew she was marrying her best friend today and that in turn made me smile.  The day quickly progressed as I inwardly squealed at all the beautiful winter wedding details Krista had seen to! The deep greens, the lace, the pearls, and the pinecones! I just loved them, and I know you will too! And her dress! Oh how stunning her dress was.  The most perfect dress for such a day.  Getting ready seemed to fly by and I was soon helping Krista into the vehicle that would take her to meet her Prince Charming.  The biting wind whipped at all of our faces as we set them up for their precious moment they were about to have together. They didn’t seem to mind though. I stepped back and the time was theirs producing one of the sweetest reactions from Matt.  My heart loves First Looks… it truly does.  And this one just added to my love for them! *Scroll down and you’ll see why!* Matt and Krista are so precious together.  Knowing only Krista from college, it was so beautiful to see  how Matt loves her.  The familiarity and comfort they have with each other goes beyond all words. The way he held her, the way he talked to her, the way he looked at her- I didn’t need to know anything about him to know that he had found “the one whom his soul loves.” But, it was fun getting to know a little bit about Matt and his deer farming ways! Yup, didn’t even know that was a thing. The things you learn at weddings! ha ha.

Matt and Krista, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to walk beside you on such a special day.  Your smiles brightened my day and warmed my heart.  Thank  you for braving the weather with me! I think you’ll find it produced some beautiful results. I hope you can look back on these memories in the many years to come with much joy. Stay tuned tomorrow for some of the the highlights from your ceremony and reception!
